\n\nAvant les 3 chansons sanglantes (MURDER ballads), un jour de juin 2018, en relisant un texte en fran\u00e7ais \u00ab Rien \u00bb m’est venu la m\u00e9lodie d’une chanson. En deux jours celle-ci \u00e9tait pos\u00e9e. Seule ma voix, peu habitu\u00e9e \u00e0 chanter sa langue maternelle, r\u00e9v\u00e8le des h\u00e9sitations et des tonalit\u00e9s que je reconnais. Je n’ai rien voulu retoucher, laissant, sinon la fra\u00eecheur ou la na\u00efvet\u00e9 que m’interdisent mon \u00e2ge, mais l’inexp\u00e9rience laisser un soup\u00e7on de fragilit\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s \u00ab Rien \u00bb, il fallait qu’il y ait une suite. Apr\u00e8s une discussion avec Christophe qui avait aim\u00e9 ce \u00ab Rien \u00bb, j’ai rassembl\u00e9 des textes et, pendant trois semaines de juillet, compos\u00e9 une vingtaine de titres. Certains n’ont \u00e9t\u00e9 finalis\u00e9s qu’\u00e0 l’automne, le r\u00e9sultat va suivre en quelques fourn\u00e9es doubles. La paire se fait l\u00e0 avec \u00ab Un autre idiot \u00bb, qui comme nombre de ses fr\u00e8res se contente juste d’une voix sur une guitare.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\nBefore the three bloody songs – murder ballads -, one day in June 2018, while reading a text I had written in French – \u00ab Rien \u00bb (\u00ab Nothing \u00bb) – I came up with the melody for a song. In the course of a couple of days it was done. Only my voice – unused to singing in its mother tongue – reveals some hesitations and tonalities which I am familiar with. I didn\u2019t want to change anything, therefore letting – the freshness and the naivity which my age forbid aside – the lack of experience give the song a hint of frailty. After \u00ab Rien \u00bb, there was to be a follow-up. After a conversation I had with Christophe who had liked this \u00ab Rien \u00bb, I gathered some texts and for three weeks in July I wrote about twenty songs. Some were not finalised before autumn – the result is to appear here as a few double features.
