Ce morceau de 2016 fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 mes br\u00fblures et \u00e0 quelques uns de mes totems musicaux, dont le Doug du titre. Au d\u00e9part j’avais l’id\u00e9e du feu limitant mes capacit\u00e9s, la triste histoire de Jackson C. Frank m’est revenue en m\u00e9moire, puis un titre de David Crosby, ensuite le fil s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 tout seul jusqu’\u00e0 l’immense Doug Sahm. Comme le texte le dit, jamais je ne chanterai aussi bien qu’il le faisait, ni jouer de la guitare comme Jackson C. Frank ou les autres g\u00e9ants cit\u00e9s ici. Le son de la guitare solo ne me plaisait pas trop alors je l’ai \u00ab\u00a0bidouill\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

This 2016 song refers to my burns and to some of my musical icons – the Doug in the title is one of them. Originally I had in mind the idea of fire limiting my abilities, but I remembered the sad story of Jackson C. Frank, then a David Crosby track, and the thread unrolled itself to finally reach the immense Doug Sahm. As mentioned in the lyrics, I\u2019ll never sing as well as he did, neither will I play the guitar like Jackson C. Frank or the other giants talked about here. I didn\u2019t really enjoy the sound of the guitar solo, so I fiddled with it quite a bit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
