A song about how the weight of kisses changes as life goes by and you grow older!? Just another topic? I consciously omitted the dreaded kisses – because they’re bristly – of your old cousin from out of town. After a bluesy-folk version, here’s one that nods towards the fifties. The sound of the electric guitar is due to a little experiment that – depending on the day and on my mood – turns out to be satisfying or not. It’s up to you to decide. In my opinion, this one would suit a singer like Nick Lowe.
