The lyrics are about an old patron at ROCK BOTTOM (a record shop), a very nice guy, with good taste, and who had been a teacher in San Francisco in the early 70\u2019s and had seen some legendary figures in music over there. But he was a heavy alcoholic who &#8211; to give you an idea of his condition &#8211; had on the passing of his father emptied a wine cellar of close to 300 bottles in a fortnight. The song was embellished by Julien at AYMF.
